A Big Week for Tori

Hey All,
Hope everyone is well out there. Well as the heading says it has been a "Big week for Tori", and she's really been being a big girl. On Wednesday we took her to see Shrek 3, her first movie in an actual theatre. Whit and I were very impressed. Even though she got a little restless, through most of the movie Tori really behaved herself and followed the movie rules. It didn't hurt that it was an early show and we were the only ones in the theatre either. We all thought that the movie was pretty good (not as good as the first two) but pretty funny still. So all in all big gold star for Miss Victoria on the movies. Wanting to keep testing the good behavior waves, on Saturday we decided to try our hand at fishing, and again we were pleasantly surprised. With just some minor signs of boredom, Tori was eager to learn and showed a great deal of patience. Unfortunately she didn't catch any fish but mommy and daddy made up for that.

So along with making some huge strides in the potty training department, weaning herself off the banky and noonoo, and these couple activities, Tori has come a long way fast and we are very proud of her.

In other news, I am now back to work and should be up to full duty by next week. Finally I can start grabbing all the over time I have been missing and try to pull us out of poorville. Whit is still seeing doctors and specialist trying to find out what our dentist did to her jaw. We have heard everything from TMJ to Bells Palsy but nothing solid yet. It would just be nice to see her eat, talk, and yawn without hurting. Last but not least for all who heard or didn't hear, my Dad is back home and out of the hospital. It was a scary couple of days but thankfully he recovered and responded well to the care he got. Also for those who didn't hear Whit, Tori, and I will most likely be moving back in with my folks for a while. Hopefully we can not only help them out, but also get some funds saved up to buy a house for ourselves.

Well that's about it for now. We hope Mema and Bepa are having a great time in Europe visiting Ryan, Gretch, and Lincoln. We miss you guys and can't wait to see you. We wish everyone good health, peace, and happiness.

Love,
Jim, Whit, and Tori
